A very firm fig with thick flesh. They are black to dark purple in color.
When soaked they become a deep purple color. Famous for their distinctive
flavor, mildly sweet. They make a tasty paste for spreads and fillings,
or eat as is. Contains potassium sorbate as a preservative.

use fig stocks within 6 months because they may tend to sugar and darken
