Take the original Blue Chips, but in this case add some zing, the magic
ingredient of cayenne pepper, and you get Red Hot Blues. Garden of Eatin’
are the originators of blue corn tortilla chips. They’re actually blue
in color because many years ago their founder, Al Jacobson, bought an entire
crop of blue corn (an ancient tradition of the Hopi and Zuni tribes) and
thought it would make a great tortilla chip. He was right! These chips
surprise your taste buds with a dusting of cayenne pepper. Tasty and crunchy.
Garden of Eatin’ uses only the highest quality organic ingredients. That’s
what makes Garden of Eatin’ snacks so tasty. The oils used are from seeds
which are crushed mechanically in a press. The best filtered water is
used – clean, clear, fresh. They are mindful of the soil, the water, biodiversity
and even worker health.
INGREDIENTS: Organically grown blue corn cooked in filtered water with
a trace of lime, expeller-pressed hi-oleic safflower and/or sunflower oil,
tomato powder, salt, soy flour, onion powder, paprika, natural spices,
smoked yeast, whey solids, and cayenne.
