We source our organic Red Rice from families farming around Lake Alaotra, Madagascar’s major inland lake. Our price premiums translate directly into more income, better health and brighter prospects for these families.

Flooding rice fields consumes up to 1/3 of the earth’s annual freshwater supplies. Our producers use System of Rice Intensification (SRI) practices, which require a lot less water and seeds to produce what we call More Crop Per Drop. And drained fields emit little or no methane. We’re taking rice production beyond organic!
